On the first day of May, 100 teenage boys meet for a race known as "The Long Walk". If you break the rules, you get three warnings. If you exceed your limit, what happens is absolutely terrifying...[It may contain spoilers]
If I have only one word to describe this book, I'd say: painful.
Everything about this book is painful. Not only about the Walk, but also about the people in it; their story, their relationships with one another, and their realization. It's so explicit and detailed and you'll feel physical pain and depression while reading this book. At least, that's what happened to me. ((oh am I so weak :""D))
